AI's Q4 Poll: Majority of Voters Concerned with Election Fraud, Plan to Take COVID Vaccine

AI’s 2020 4th Quarter poll is in, and the results indicate a polarized electorate with broadly diverging views on politics and policy.

President Trump is still holding over 50 percent approval in Oklahoma (54%). As one would expect, Republicans are overwhelmingly supportive of President Trump (84%). Sixty-eight percent of Democrats strongly disapprove of his job as President.

The divisive nature of the 2020 Presidential election itself was apparent in the data with 52 percent of Oklahomans believing there was enough voter fraud in the election to have impacted the outcome. Broken down by party lines, Republicans and Democrats are near exact opposites, with 78 percent of Republicans saying there was voter fraud and 78 percent of Democrats saying no. Men are slightly more apt to believe in voter fraud claims than women.

Governor Stitt has a 52 percent approval rating, with much more widespread support from his base. Republicans give the Governor 75 percent approval, with Democrats at 29 percent.

Some good news for public health advocates and the effort to contain COVID-19: 61% of Oklahoma voters now say they will definitely or probably get a COVID vaccine, up from 46% in September.

We all know 2020 has been a rough year for everyone, however 61% of Oklahomans say they are optimistic about 2021. Cheers to that!
